Course Description
This course is designed for students who are interested in Beauty Therapy. Students will study and practice Facial Therapy, Body Therapy, Body Massage, Electrolysis, Applied Science, Health and Safety, Anatomy and Physiology, Professional Conduct, Business Awareness, Career Advice, CV Preparation and Industry Training Course. This course is very intensive and a high level of commitment is essential. Work experience in Beauty Therapy is an integral part of the course.
Facial Therapy
Skin Analysis and Cleansing Treatments including Tinting, Cosmetic Make-up, Manicure, Pedicure, Depilatory Treatments (waxing and sugaring), Electrical Facial Treatments including Faradic /Galvanic/High Frequency/Micro current/Vacuum Suction/Pre-heating Treatments. (Steam/Infra-red/Hot Towels).
Body Therapy
Swedish Body Massage (Manual and Electrical), Figure Analysis, Diet and Nutrition; Heating Treatments (Steam/Infra-red/Sauna), Spray Tanning, Exfoliation Techniques, Electrical Body Treatments and Anatomy and Physiology.
Electrolysis
Theory and practice of 3 modalities - Shortwave Diathermy, Galvanic Electrolysis and the Blend.
