Creative Initiatives is a celebration of creativity in Art, Craft & Design, Multimedia, Furniture, Fashion, Floristry, Interior Design, Archictectual Technology, Building Construction, CAD., Music and Drama. It is taking place in Cavan Institute and the Town Hall Theatre from the 6th to 8th May 2009.
The series of exhibitions and performances planned promises to be a major event on the artistic, design and performance calendar of County Cavan.
The official opening of Creative Initiatives will be performed by Shane Connaughton on Wednesday May 6th at 7.30pm. The exhibition will feature work by students from Art, Craft & Design, Multimedia, Furniture Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Floristry and Computer Aided Design. Members of the public will be able to view the work on display on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May.
