The Sport Scholarships Programme supports high performance sports men and women who have the talent and dedication to combine an academic course with excellence in sport. The programme is also open to students who do not want to compete in sporting activities but wish to get involved in running a club and have a proven track record of success in organising and developing club structures.
The Sport Scholarships Programme reflects the commitment of Cavan Institute to aspire to the highest standards possible.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 12 Noon, Monday 10th October 2016.

Range of Sports
The programme awards sport scholarships to students across a wide range of sports including:
- Gaelic Football
(i) Students who are currently competing at a high level in their chosen sports discipline and intend to
pursue a Full Time course of study at Cavan Institute or
(ii) Students who can demonstrate good leadership qualities and are prepared to get actively involved in running a Sports Club.
