Meet Ciara Harkin From Granard, Co Longford, who studied sports therapy and physiotherapy assistant with us and then progressed to Teesside University to complete her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy.

"My decision to attend Cavan Institute and complete a course in Sports Therapy & Physiotherapy Assistant was one of the best decisions I made. My interest in sports, sports injuries, caring, treating, maintaining and rehabilitating made this course ideal for me. After two years and successfully achieving the full 6 qualifications that are offered during this time in ITEC and FETAC/QQI exams, I applied to Teeside University to continue my studies and gain access to my BSc (hons) Degree in Physiotherapy.

I was accepted into Teesside University based on all my previous experience and all my results from Cavan Institute. Cavan Institute really prepared me for higher education study e.g completing assignments, meeting deadlines & the anatomy and physiology from Cavan Institute was a huge help for University too.
