Paula from Rockcorry, Co Monaghan attended St Louis Secondary School, Carrickmacross and progressed to Cavan Institute to undertake and complete QQI Level 5 Pre-University Accounting and Finance course in May 2021.

"Starting this course, I was very nervous about how I would manage studying in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. It was the best thing I did. I got great help from all my tutors and the use of Teams and technology went so smoothly. I was delighted that I also managed to make new friends, friends for life!

Tutors were so professional, always made us feel at ease and helped us all in every possible way! I am delighted to have completed Pre-University Accounting and Finance and look forward to see where the future takes me! To anyone considering studying at Cavan Institute, I would highly recommend it.

Paula has been accepted onto the Bachelor Degree in Criminology course, she will take up her place in September 2022 after deferring for this year to take up employment in a GP surgery.
