About This Course

This course will enable students to work with world-renowned professional skincare and body products, such as Yonka, to develop practical expertise in a range of treatments. Students will complete case studies on guest clients for each module, performing treatments such as body massage and figure analysis, microdermabrasion, IPL, radiofrequency, microneedling and learning correct use of body electrical machines.

As part of this Beauty Aesthetics and Body Treatments course, students actively design, set up and participate in the Institute’s commercial salon, which runs on a weekly basis. This experience empowers the students, building their confidence to make the transition to professional beauty therapists. Additional workshops may be offered in eyelash extensions, lash perming, BIAB nails and threading.

The Beauty Therapy course is made up of a variety of modules, which are a mix of practical and theory classes. What I loved most about my time at Cavan Institute was working closely with the lecturers who were all so helpful and passionate about giving us the best possible education.
