Caoimhe from Kells, Co Meath attended St Ciaran s Community School, Kells. Caoimhe enrolled on the QQI Level 5 course in Theatre Performance at Cavan Institute in September 2015. After successfully completing the course, she progressed to NUI Galway to study Performing Arts with Arts.

"Hi - My name is Caoimhe Garvey. I am 19 years old. I am from Kells, Co Meath.

I completed The Theatre Performance course when I was in Cavan Institute from 2015-2016. I am now studying Performing Arts with Arts in NUI Galway.

My QQI points from Cavan Institute got me into NUI Galway. (Minimum 5 Distinctions).

I believe that Cavan Institute helped me with my confidence. I would have never thought that I would be able to write short films and be able to get them out there. It gave me the confidence to not be afraid of trying new things, which I have. This year I hope to get my very first play on the stage and I hope to direct it. I wouldn't be doing that without Cavan Institute or the amazing talent I met there. The Institute has had an amazing impact upon my life.

I loved my time in Cavan Institute so much. It made me take the first steps towards my future. I recommend it and have recommended it to so many people including my Mum, Shelley Garvey, who hopes to be joining you there next year. Thank you Cavan Institute for helping me achieve my success."
