"I studied Makeup Artistry in Cavan Institute for the academic year 2014-15. I had just completed my leaving certificate and wanted to study all things beauty and makeup. I received an overall distinction certificate with the help of my tutors in all modules.

The course in Cavan Institute covers many variations of makeup including special effects and theatrical makeup. I went on to study in London for a further few months before returning home, where I worked on the Benefit counter in Cara Pharmacy. I have recently left to concentrate on more freelance makeup and to work in London. All tutors at Cavan Institute were extremely helpful and gave great advice and knowledge. Cavan Institute definitely helped me to become more confident and acquire some great skills for working in the beauty industry."
