Erasmus Plus

Cavan Institute students who wish to complete their mandatory work placement in Europe can apply to the Erasmus+ Programme. The Programme is open to all registered, full-time students on registered courses. Work placements and accommodation are arranged by Cavan Institute with partners in host countries.

On completion of the placement abroad, students will be required to submit a report to Cavan Institute which is forwarded to the European Union.

Cavan Institute has developed partnerships with agencies and colleges in Malta, Estonia and Italy (TBC). The Erasmus+ Programme is funded by the European Union and administered by the Irish national agency, Leargas.

Travel

Costs such as flights, accommodation and living expenses while abroad are fully covered.

In order to apply to the Programme, students will need to complete an application form and submit a current C.V. as well as attend a pre-application briefing and an interview. Full details of the Programme and application dates will be provided during the induction in September and details will also be listed on the Student Hub.
