This course will start with a theory class that provides an overview on the equipment involved in grooming and how to maintain it. This is followed by three practical classes that will demonstrate the process involved in a groom, introducing you to the different way to groom a variety of breed and coat types. You will also learn important elements related to housing a dog, a dog’s body language, the dog’s skin and possible skin disorders. This will be followed by three practical classes.
