Brian Sheanon attended St Patrick's College in Cavan. Brian is a keen footballer and plays with Killygarry GAA. Brian's goal was to study radiography, which commands very high CAO points. Undeterred by an initial setback, Brian chose to follow his radiography career dream. Having considered all of his options, Brian opted to study the Science & Laboratory Techniques course at Cavan Institute in 2015/2016. Brian enjoyed his course and graduated with his full award. This then allowed Brian to progress onto Kingston University, London, where he is now studying Radiography. Brian recalls "My year at Cavan Institute helped me in many ways. Not only in terms of further developing core science subject knowledge, but I also matured a lot. This really helped to make the move away from home, family and friends easier so that I could pursue my career in radiography".
