"During my first year studying Childcare Level 5 in Cavan Institute, I was overwhelmed with all the support I was given. The staff and people in Cavan Institute always made me feel like I belonged there and never made me feel like an outsider. Everyone did what they could do to help me which made me like the place even more than I already did. Everyone was always friendly and was able to lift the mood when I was having a bad day.
One of my favourite experiences was around Christmas time. The canteen and lounge area was filled with Christmas music and decorated all over. The overall setting of the Institute made everyone that little more festive and joyous.
The tutors always made sure that we knew what we were doing but then also knew how to keep us on our toes. My tutors knew how to make learning fun by incorporating quizzes and games into the curriculum.
Another fond memory/experience I remember was, one of the first days I attended the Institute. The class was brought out to Breffni Park for team building exercises and to get to know everyone better. I can honestly say that it was so much fun and from that day I made some of my best/closest friends. I can honestly say I really enjoyed my time at Cavan Institute for my first year in college and cannot wait to return for my second year to study Early Childhood Care and Education Level 6"
