"My life as a Cavan Institute Student showed me the possibilities and the career paths that I could take in the Performance Industry. From working behind the scenes of a production, to being centre stage in a show, there were many progression routes. Cavan Institute gave me a hopeful insight on what my life could look like in the future. And thanks to the Theatre Performance Course, and the Qualification I’ve received, I am one of many students attending the new Atlantic Technological University in Sligo to further my career in this field.

I chose Cavan Institute because it was close to home, and I could commute to the college. I also chose this course to see if I wanted to have a career in Acting. I've learnt so much there, like how to make a portfolio, the basics in Acting and Theatre. The Course also helps you to come out of your comfort zone, and for me, I’ve gained a lot more confidence.

I gained work experience at Backstage Theatre Longford and I learnt so much working there and was treated equally to the rest of the team.

Through doing this course, not only did I learn so much, but I met like-minded people and made friends for life. We’ve been with each other through this journey, and we finished this chapter of our lives together.
