The Beauty Therapy course is made up of a variety of modules, which are a mix of practical and theory classes. What I loved most about my time at Cavan Institute was working closely with the lecturers who were all so helpful and passionate about giving us the best possible education.

I graduated with qualifications in QQI, which is an Irish qualification and also in CIDESCO, ITEC and CIBTAC which are recognised worldwide.

It was a brilliant course. The level 6 was a lot about larger animals. In level 5 I studied a wide variety of modules. I did work experience in the vets, I had an amazing experience. I currently work in ISPCA in Longford. I feel like you are consistently learning something new.

I would advise a PLC course as it sets you up for third level and further education. I'm happy I did it. My favourite part was the forensics module which was very detailed. We did work experience in lab-based environments which was very informative. Cavan is a very welcoming in environment with great lecturers.

I progressed from Cavan Institute to the University of College Cork and now work as a full-time P.E and History teacher. After completing the two years in Cavan I had so many certificates like personal training, lifeguarding etc which gives me the opportunity to travel and work elsewhere,

It's a course that allows us to participate in caring for people and being aware of others in our communities. I have loved this course it has been so amazing. The teachers and lectures are so helpful. They have a great understanding of mature students. I loved it.

The level 5 here gave me the confidence to continue on with my education. The one-to-one supports here where so beneficial. The continuous assessment was great to not have to worry about exams. The course gives you a better understanding of society and yourself

I did two years in Cavan and now study Law at Trinity. The guidance and support in Cavan really helped me decide what I wanted to study. I used the round zero offers to get into Trinity. At times it was quite difficult but I put the work in and I'm happy where I am now

The Institute is amazing the tutors are amazing. The opportunities for employment from the course of office environments such as schools, local authorities and the hotel industry. The work is spread out so there is not huge pressure for exams at the end of the year.

This experience has truly been one of a kind. It has been one of the most beneficial choices I made as it's allowed me a head start going into further studying. I have learned so many skills and techniques. It was a great course.

The thing I liked the most was we had our own Mac lab to do work when we needed it. We had access to really great software and professional equipment. When I came out of my course I immediately got an internship and everything I used in college I now use in my job which was really beneficial.
