About This Course

This course advances the student’s skills acquired in year 1. Students build and develop professional skills required to work in the industry. Students work with their clients in an open salon in the Institute as well as during their work experience module. This ensures that students will have developed the necessary employability skills to meet the needs of their clients in the hairdressing industry, from booking the appointment, providing the service and offering hair or product advice.

As part of the Hairdressing Year 2 course, students are also required to complete a photoshoot,  creating elaborate hair styles. This is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their creative skills which will showcase their talents to prospective employers.
