About This Course
Throughout the year, students will develop specific skills in the area of advanced sports massage techniques, learn to evaluate sports massage treatments and work with clients to carry out consultations and assessments and produce individual treatment plans. Other areas where students will gain valuable knowledge are in the areas of client care, health, communications, safety and hygiene, all of which are essential for success in the sports massage therapy & Healthcare industry.

Entry Requirements
QQI level 5 award in Community Health Services or equivalent and the ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage Award must also be completed, with the practical elements of the assessment passed.
Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements.
