About This Course

The aim of this traineeship is to support the learner in developing the knowledge, skills, and competencies to work as a Healthcare worker delivering person-centred care in a variety of healthcare settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. The work experience element of this course grants the opportunity to apply theory to practice throughout the year while allowing the employer to see a student's potential. The modules included in this course place emphasis on imperative areas in healthcare, such as recognising clients’ individual needs, assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a safe and hygienic healthcare environment.

This course is fully funded and there are additional allowances for individuals participating in the course, including Training & Meal Allowances, Travel or Accommodation Allowances and Access to the National Childcare Scheme.
