About This Course
Psychology is a social science. It is the study of behaviour, of why we do the things we do. The aim of psychology is to understand how a person thinks, feels and acts in a social situation. The main focus is to try and understand the individual, and how the individual is affected by, and affects, the world around them. This course is for people who wish to embark on a programme of study leading to a career in social care or pursue further studies in the areas of Pyschology, Sociology, Counselling or Addiction.
