My favourite part was the forensics module which was very detailed. We did work experience in lab-based environments which was very informative. Cavan is a very welcoming in environment with great lecturers. Cavan Institute was founded in 1985 and since then it’s grown to become one of the largest further education and training colleges in the country. With a focus on your achievement, academic and otherwise, our student-centred approach results in higher than average completion and certification rates (approx. 85% each year). Over half of all our graduates (51%) go on to study for higher certificates, diplomas and degrees at Colleges of Further Education, Institutes of Technology and Universities in Ireland and the UK.
