"When I completed my leaving certificate in St Clares, Ballyjamesduff, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I got accepted to DIT for sports but I opted for sports in Cavan institute which I completed, but didn't continue the sports. Then in September 2013 I started my Hairdressing year 1. Each module was covered in great detail and gave me the love to stay at hairdressing, developing skills I never knew I had. Without the excellent teachers, with great ambition and passion, to help each student to obtain their highest ability, I wouldn't be the hairstylist I am now. During my advanced course I worked part time in a hairdressing salon which lead to full time employment. I felt I was ready to make the jump and open my own hairdressing salon in October 2018.
