Cavan Institute to Host Annual Post-Primary GAA Schools Blitz

Cavan Institute is delighted to host our Annual Post-Primary GAA Schools Blitz on Thursday, 12th March, at the impressive 3G pitch in Kingspan Breffni.

Registration will begin at 9.30 am, with games running throughout the morning and concluding at approximately 1.00 pm. We are expecting up to 160 students from a range of post-primary schools across the region to take part in what promises to be an exciting and energetic event.

Promoting Sport, Teamwork and Community

The Schools Blitz is an important part of our sporting calendar, bringing together young athletes to showcase their skills, build teamwork, and enjoy competitive sport in a supportive environment. Hosting the event at Kingspan Breffni provides students with the opportunity to play on a top-class facility while experiencing the atmosphere of a well-known sporting venue.

Back to Campus

Following the games, students will return to Cavan Institute at approximately 1.30 pm for refreshments and a short presentation in Room A220/221. This will give participants the chance to relax, reflect on the day, and learn more about the opportunities available at Cavan Institute.
